Sweet Ethel
This is Ethel, the daughter of Gladis. You can read the sad story of Gladis by clicking
on her thumbnail. Ethel had a lot of the qualities of Gladis and she also stole our hearts.
At the time we thought we were doing the right thing by giving our cats the freedom to
roam our 5 acre property. She was with us for a few years and we never ever saw her near
the road. We were confident she was just happy with the 5 acres of bush we had.
One day out of the blue she was hit by a truck. She died within about 5 minutes in the arms
of my stepdaughter. Another sad loss and a valuable lesson to us.
We now keep all our new cats in the cat run or in the house.
Ethel will be best remembered for her facial expressions.
